Our History
Iowa House is an architecturally-unique former fraternity house, built in 1924. The newly renovated inn was created to accommodate guests with an appreciation of history, the mulit-cultural Iowa State University Campus and state-of-the-art- conveniences.

Our Location
Located in a Campustown residential neighborhood with great accessibility to Iowa State, Iowa House combines convenience, beauty, spaciousness, and nostalgia with a warm welcome--hospitality in the Iowa spirit.

Our Architecture
Iowa House is a brick building featuring a double façade facing Hayward Avenue and Knapp Street. The steeply pitched, complex hip roof is intersected by lower gables. Its porte-cochere (covered coach entry) features a front gable roof.
